About Me

 Lauren Saymo is a screenwriter based in Orlando, Florida. Focused on crafting emotionally resonant stories, she writes character-driven dramas and romantic narratives that explore connection, vulnerability, and the complexities of human relationships.

 Writing is a way to understand the emotional rhythms that shape our lives. Her work often dwells in the moments between certainty and doubt—the quiet conflicts, the difficult choices, and the tender spaces where people discover who they really are. Through her writing, she aims to create narratives that linger with audiences long after the screen fades, resonating with their own experiences of love, change, and self-discovery.

Lauren is a film student at the University of Central Florida and is currently working towards her B.F.A. in screenwriting.

 She has written scripts across various formats, developing a strong foundation in story structure, dialogue, and character development. In addition to her writing experience, she has worked on a student film set. She has experience in student news sets, gaining hands-on experience in production, collaboration, and how a script becomes a visual story.
